Executive Functioning skills are the basis for planning, organizing, initiating, and following through with all tasks, assignments, and general problems in one’s daily life. Led by a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist and Registered Speech Language Pathology Assistant, this program will focus on supporting students with gaining independence with their planning, problem solving and overall executive functioning skills. Does your student have trouble focusing, is disorganized, or experiences difficulty with task completion? Then this camp is for them!
Areas that will be covered:
- Time management
- Task initiation
- Working memory
- Sustained attention
Students will be provided an introduction to each skill and given strategies to help support their learning and daily functioning.
Your teen may benefit if:
They have difficulties with the above skills and or experience social language difficulties, LLD, ADHD, ADD, are on the autism spectrum or have a mild intellectual disability.
