How does group programming work at the SLN?
- Groups are formed based on the participants’ personalities, skill levels and areas of need.
- Clients MUST have participated in direct one-on-one therapy prior to joining a group, either at the SLN or have been recommended by another therapist they are currently seeing.
- Before joining a group, new clients will be required to have a “meet and greet” session with the therapist leading the group.
- Curriculum for each group will be adjusted to suit the participants, with a specific topic/skill targeted each week.
-
- Children’s groups (3-8 years of age) are offered as a 6 week program with each lessons being 45 minutes
- Pre-Teen / Teen Groups (8-18 years of age) are offered as an 8 week program with lessons being 60 minutes.
- Adult Groups (18+ years of age) are offered as an 8 week program with lessons being 90 minutes.
- Parent & Child Groups (3-4 years of age) are offered as an 8 week program with lessons being 45 minutes.
-
Group Fees are set up just like many extra-curricular activities are, fees MUST be paid before the start of the group to reserve your spot and are Non-Refundable. If lessons are missed program fees are still due for the missed date(s).
